Sarah and Derek met on U of M’s campus, so it was only fitting to go back to the place where it all began for their wedding. Ann Arbor in the Fall brings back all kinds of nostalgia for me. The colors were beautiful, the stadium was awaiting a big game, the diag was buzzing with students. In the midst of it all we took photos. Photos with their sweet golden retriever, Draper, who was beyond excited to see them for a first look too. Photos with their friends - the group they became super close with during college. We even had a chance to stop at their old campus house before heading to their ceremony. The pace of the day felt relaxed, enjoyable, and so fun. It is honestly hard to imagine a more perfect, laid back, October wedding. Thanks you two! It was such an honor to document.
