As a “grown up”, yes, I have an office. But I can go there after I spend the morning walking around the dunes and jumping in Lake Michigan. There are some adult tasks that just come with any job, but I’m proud that I’ve built this type of work environment for myself. I pinch myself when I’m photographing wonderful people for hours a day in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Last week one of those days was spent with the Spaulding family, and we couldn’t have hit the beautiful morning light any better. It was pretty darn magical.
