MARRI + DANIEL // JULY WEDDING AT SOJOURN LAKESIDE RESORT // GAYLORD WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Marri & Daniel waited a long time for this day. They are childhood sweethearts who originally planned their wedding for 2020. Like many couples in 2020, they decided to get married prior to their large celebration, but these two had an extra important reason to do so. They wanted to make sure that Marri’s mom, who passed away last Fall, could be a part of it. While I can’t imagine what they’ve gone through, I do know that the joys of life sometimes go hand in hand with significant grief. As a witness to the day, I can say that her impact on the wedding was very apparent. Marri wears her wedding band on her right hand. The ceremony and toasts were filled with words about her and everyone commented on the butterflies flying around the Sojourn property. I’m so impressed by Marri + Daniel’s strength, commitment to each other, and fun loving adventurous attitude. This day was one for the books and I’m incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to document it. Cheers!
