I don’t know what it is about wedding toasts this year, but they are really landing with me. I’ve been getting chill bumps and wiping away tears this season, and I love that. Courtney & Dani’s wedding was not an exception. These toasts were amazing. In the wedding industry I don’t think it’s uncommon for vendors to hope that the toasts move along quickly, but I couldn’t feel more differently. The toasts are a part of the day where I get a true glimpse into the connections that a family shares. They are a time for stories, a time for laughter, tears, love, memories, nostalgia… all of the reasons that I love being a wedding photographer. So let them take their space if the situation calls for it. What an absolutely incredible day. I feel so honored to have been asked to document it. Cheers to Court & Dani!
