CORI + GEORGE // MACKINAC ISLAND WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY // SEPTEMBER WEDDING AT MISSION POINT RESORT

There will always be something magical about the island for me. Every time I step off the ferry and onto the dock I am hit with a wave of nostalgia for trips that I took with my family when I was a kid. Cori feels the same way, and even more so because she grew up in Cheboygan and her family has many ties to the area. In fact, her 96 year old grandmother spent summers living in the Round Island Lighthouse because her father was the last lighthouse keeper there! Some of her first trips with George were to the island so the area really has a special meaning for them. And what a perfect weekend! The September weather was fantastic and I couldn’t be happier for these two. Cheers to Cori & George!
