The Leahy Family // A Lifestyle Newborn Session in Traverse City, Michigan

It’s so cliche, but even though the days and hours can seem to drag on with a newborn, the months and years go by in a blink! My own little one is almost 2. Sometimes it still feels like it was yesterday when I was swaddling and only sleeping in small chunks. Now he’s telling me that cats can be the color green and laughing about how silly he is. What a wild ride parenthood is.

Also I just have to say - an in-home session with a brand new baby is such a great way to go. In your own space with time for feedings and breaks is so much more relaxed than anything else I can imagine at this time in life. This sweet little one only gave us a few windows to work with, but I am in love with what we captured and I certainly think we made the most of it! Her little puppy siblings also made appearances which was super fun as well. Cheers to the Leahy Family!
