Jenna + Ben Maternity Session // Old Mission Peninsula // Maternity photos in the water

When Jenna told me that she wanted to get in the water for her maternity photos I was super excited. I loved swimming and being in the water when I was pregnant. Documenting and celebrating moms who are expecting has become a really incredible part of my job as a photographer, and it brings back so many special feelings for me about that time in my life. September weather has changed rapidly so I wasn’t sure the photos in the water were going to happen. But Jenna braved the chilly temps and the wind and we ended up wading into the lake with the most incredible lighting as the sun set. I am so stoked by how these images turned out. Cheers to Jenna, Ben and their little one on the way!
