Alessandra + Alison // Spring Wedding at The Homestead’s Camp Firefly // Glen Arbor, MI

The simple details spoken about during a ceremony sometimes really get me. Like when one partner talks about how the other one likes their coffee in the morning. Little details about their first date. Small little things that when put together day after day make up a lifetime of shared experiences. These seemingly tiny things build upon each other and create our relationships - because before you know it, it will have been 5 years, 10 years with the person standing next to you up there.

Shortly after Eddie was born, Michael made me a sandwich and I started crying. The baby hormones were likely responsible for the tears, but the small little gestures have certainly built our relationship to the place where it is today. The place that I am really proud of. So nothing gives me a sweet little smile as I photograph your ceremony like hearing about your morning coffee.

Cheers to Alessandra & Alison! Every part of this day was perfection.
