Higgins Lake Newborn Lifestyle Photography

It’s not everyday that I get to ride in a boat for work. I mean… it’s not unheard of. It’s not even the first time I have been on a boat in the past few months for a job. However, it’s very very unusual to be on a boat with a 2 week old baby. This family has been visiting or living in the Higgins Lake area for 90 years and their connection to the place is very apparent. So we packed up the infant life jacket and took the pontoon over to the most magical wooded beach for portraits. The simple joys of the wind in your hair on a boat ride with a brand new member of the family was just pure happiness. I am so grateful. Cheers the Dickerson Homan family! Love you guys!
