Kendall + Michael // Leland Country Club + Old Art Building // Leland Wedding Photographer
I don’t normally like to write anything to indicate that certain clients might have “the best” of anything, or be in “the top 10” of something, or be a favorite in anyway. Because at this point in my career, I am genuinely excited for each wedding that I photograph. I have taken on the right number of events to truly keep my love and joy for this profession alive. However, I really feel compelled to say that Kendall and Michael wrote some of the best vows that I have heard in my 10+ years of photographing weddings. To be fair, they told me before the wedding that their goal was to “make as many people cry as possible during our vows”. Well, they delivered. The vows were truly incredible. Kendall talked about a simple day grocery shopping with Michael being one of the best days of her life. That just really hit home for me because after all of the beautiful flowers have died, and the food has been eaten, the glow of this magical time surrounded by family and friends has gone, there will be two people standing together. Facing exhilarating moments, truly mundane moments, happy ones, sad ones, and frustrating ones, but they will be doing it together. And if they can love the simple stuff, I think that is such a good indicator of all of the joy that life has in store for them. Cheers to Kendall and Michael! It was truly such an honor to be your wedding photographer.
