Personal Film Photography | 2024
Throughout 2024, most of the images that I captured of my own family were on film. I’m excited to dive into some of my favorites with you! This is a collection of really simple, everyday moments with the very closest people in my life. Enjoy.

As the calendar year changed from 2023 to 2024 I hiked with my husband and son at the Sleeping Bear Point trail.

We made a pit stop at The Mill afterwards. Duh. It’s the absolute dreamiest.

March: More hikes close to home, this time at Brown Bridge Quiet Area

In April we went out to California to visit Michael’s brother & family. We love spending time together and enjoyed the bay area and a few days up in Tahoe!

Cousins :)

Pit stop at Fish. Restaurant in Sausalito where I worked for 3 years before Michael and I moved back to Michigan. It was special to share that place with Eddie for the first time!

Snuggles up in Tahoe with Spring snow!

Epic sledding out the back door of our friends home in Tahoe. We had the best, laid back, trip.

Spring arrived at home and we played tee ball in our backyard with excellent coaching from Michael’s Aunt Pat.

Exploring Maple Bay right after the melt - the water is so blue!!

Glendale burgers are the best in town. Maybe the world.

Late May into early June brought more backyard baseball. This time with the cousins at my parents house in Grayling.

These are the best nights.

Planting in my mom’s garden.

We took a trip up to the UP in July with relatives visiting from Denmark. Love this sculpture in Germfask - actually created by a Danish artist!

Beach days in Glen Arbor with my parents.

August dinner with friends on the beach in Northport.

Eight years married to this incredible man.

Back to the UP for the Ore 2 Shore bike race.

We rented a simple, but perfect, cabin with a sauna on a small lake south of Marquette.

My brother in law and his soon to be wife Jana visit my in laws new house for the first time!

Labor Day - enjoying the lake in Grayling.

Porch fest in September. Traverse City is the greatest and we love our little community here.

Daycare buds.

Early October was warm! So we soaked up the last pontoon boat days of the season.

We’re converting my mother-in-law into a fisherwoman. Slowly, but surely.

A final warm weather hike out in the dunes right before the fall weather hit.

Late fall walks in the woods with Mo Mo (my mom).

Winter arrives and we play with our snowy porch pumpkins.

Getting our Christmas tree in the snow. Truly a piece of everyday magic.

We wrapped up 2024 in New Mexico with the Kent side of the family. New Mexico really is the land of enchantment.

Running free in the dunes of White Sands National Park. Goodbye 2024!
