The anticipation of becoming a parent is like standing in front of an abyss of unknowns. Whether every soon to be parent feels this way, I don’t know, but I definitely remember feeling like that. Excited, nervous, curious, emotional, grateful. Talking with Dani and Courtney brought me right back to that point in my life… Before I knew my son. It’s wild to think back to that time. Because having my son was the most completely life altering thing that has ever happened to me. In some ways, I am absolutely the same person I was then, but I will also never be her again.

Photographing Courtney and Dani’s wedding was an absolute blast and it was such a true joy to hear the news that they would be welcoming a child into their family. I am so happy for them and I hope they love these as much as I do! Cheers!
