The Lang Family // Multi Generational Family Photographer // Lake Leelanau

I always feel like documenting family time together is important, but it takes on a different weight when family members have to travel from international destinations. For this session not only was travel involved from Virginia, but also Germany and Japan. When I know the time is limited for families - and rare - it infuses everything I do with a bit more intensity because I realize how special these photos will actually be. On top of that, the session took place at the family’s 99 year old homestead property on Lake Leelanau. Seriously special. I really enjoyed every moment of this session last week and I hope that’s reflected in each of these portraits and candid captures. Cheers to the Lang family! It was such a treat to meet your family.
