THE GRABOVSKY FAMILY // A FAMILY PORTRAIT SESSION ON THE BEACH AND UNDERWATER IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN

One of my goals for this Summer was to get in the water more. Whether that’s jumping in the lake after a photo shoot, time spent lounging in a floaty on a Sunday, or a last minute drive to meet friends at the road end for a quick dip before the clouds roll in. It also means getting the camera in the water! When Marina expressed interest in letting her kids jump in the bay with their clothes on at the end of the session I got super excited! I busted out my underwater housing which I mainly use for diving. Most of my underwater work from the past two years sadly hasn’t made it off of my hard drives, so unfortunately many people don’t even know that I do it! It was exciting and inspiring for me to play with my camera in the water and I absolutely want to be doing more of it. Thanks Grabovsky family for giving me such a great excuse to play!!
