It’s hard to find words that could adequately describe how special this day was for me personally. I met this sweet family the day that Luke officially proposed to Kristen. I’ve photographed them again since then. But I’ve also developed a personal friendship with them - walking with Kristen throughout my pregnancy and since my son was born. Sometimes the lines blur between “clients” and friends and it is truly an honor. I feel very lucky to call them friends and to have been invited into such a close circle to witness the ceremony cementing their relationship and making them husband and wife. The processional into the ceremony site involved coolers and boxes of subs. I wore a bathing suit under my dress so that I could jump in the bay after my official duties as a photographer were done. Their vows truly brought me to tears behind the camera. They absolutely nailed it. I am SO excited to share this preview! Cheers to Kristen & Luke!!!
